5 February 2016

Indie March is CounterCulture’s flagship music festival. The music management collective and company (previously a Bangalore based venue) has just announced the first lineup and details for the two day event, set to take place on 19 and 20 March at MoonGate in Bangalore.

The festival has announced an exciting international lineup, which includes Germany’s Colour Haze – who are considered one the founding bands of ‘stoner’ rock, instrumental electronic post/math rock outfit 65daysofstatic, Scottish electronic duo Happy Meals.

Indian acts include hugely talented sludge outfit Shepherd, the ever-popuar Dualist Inquiry, four piece alternative ‘Malayalam rock band' Avial, Parekh & Singh (formerly the solo act of singer-songwriter Nischay Parekh), nu-disco/funk duo Madboy/Mink, Mumbai based drone/progressive band Pangea, Chennai garage rock trio Skrat and progressive urdu rock outfit Parvaaz. The festival will also feature a performance by The Manganiyar Seduction, which also has separate ticketing away from the festival specifically for seating.

More acts are still to be announced. Follow CounterCulture on Facebook and visit the website for more. Tickets for the festival are available here.
