Israeli Indie-pop Band Garden City Movement To Play At Magnetic Fields 2015

10 December 2015

Magnetic Fields has announced an exciting surprise act for the event later this month, and revealed details of its post-party in New Delhi. The festival, along with the Embassy of Israel is bringing down indie/electronic trio Garden City Movement to the Motherland for the very first time, adding to the Magnetic Field's already extensive lineup.

Garden City Movement’s brand of melodic, hypnotic electronica is something we’re very proud to be bringing to the festival. The electronic indie-pop band is from Tel Aviv and they're going to blow up very, very soon. Since the release of their debut EP ‘Entertainment’ last year, the trio has received acclaim from a number of recognised platforms including The FADER, Pitchfork, FACT, Stereogum and more. The band consists of Roi Avital (vocals, keyboards, guitar), Joe Saar (guitar, sampler, keyboards) and Johnny Sharoni (vocals, sampler, percussion).

Magnetic Fields has also announced details for a post-party to help you recover after the festival. The event is set to take place on 23 December at antiSOCIAL in New Delhi and will feature performances by Garden City Movement, Palmistry and a very special guest TBA.

Follow Magnetic Fields festival for updates, and head over to the website for more information and the entire lineup.
