Details Announced For Orange Festival of Adventure and Music

10 November 2015

Arunachal Pradesh is slowly becoming the new hub for music, art and adventure properties. After Ziro, the latest festival to find a home in its mountainous, verdant terrain is the Orange Festival of Adventure and Music (OFAM), which is set to take place from 15-18 December in the picturesque little village of Dambuk.

The destination festival aims to attract music lovers and energetic travelers with a spirit of adventure, so make sure you take your sturdiest pair of boots along. This year Orange Festival will also host the first JK Tyre 4x4 championships besides high adrenaline sports like river rafting, dirt cycling, ATV rides in the forest and (the crowd favourite) paintballing. They have also replicated an army training set up, complete with trail running and jungle obstacle course. You can also dabble in local tribal sports like archery and darts, or lay back and indulge in a bit of fishing.

The lineup for this edition of OFAM includes American singer-songwriter legend Joseph Arthur and a number of Indian outfits including Grammy Nominee Lama Tashi, FAADU, Lou Majaw, Neel & The Lightbulbs, Guru Rewben, Dossers Urge, Ganesh Talkies, Alisha Batth, We the Giants, Your Chin and many more.

The Orange Festival of Adventure and Music has released a promo video for this edition, which you can watch here. Follow them on Facebook for updates and more information. Buy your tickets for OFAM here.
