Battles (Warp Records) To Play At The Humming Tree In Bangalore

There’s so much exciting music coming down to the country this year.
Bangalore venue The Humming Tree announced yesterday that they will be bringing down Brooklyn based art/experimental rock band Battles to the city on 11 December later this year.
The New York based band, currently composed of guitarist/keyboardist Ian Williams, guitarist/bassist Dave Konopka and drummer John Stanier have earned recognition from a number of international journals and artists like Brian Eno, with Gui Boratto, Kode9 and Hudson Mohawke and more contributing to remix albums. Battles released their new album ‘La Di Da Di’ via Warp Records last month.
