Gig Preview: A Night Of Afrobeat & Afro House At Barsoom

This Friday, for one night only Wild City presents a journey through African music bringing carnival heat to the floors of New Delhi.
Our first night of afrobeat and afro-house event will take place at one of our favourite venues in Delhi – Barsoom. The night will feature performances by our very own Moniker, Flash Hardkor and Mumbai’s Eng.
Expect a variety of Afro based sub genres that range from South Africa’s Kwaito, Soweto and the extremely energetic Angola born Kuduro to “soul of calypso” Soca music, dancehall and modern interpretations of the African sound in garage and grime.
Consider this club night an homage to the music that has influenced and shaped some of today’s most popular sounds.
