Gig Preview: RESET Return To Pune This October

RESET is a travelling musical showcase brought to life by UnMute Agency and Phoenix Live Entertainment Production. The multi-city event series – known for it’s top-notch Funktion One sound systems - launched its second season to a packed venue in Bangalore and will continue its journey to Pune and Hyderabad in October.

We heard that the show in Bangalore was a huge success and got in touch with Bharath Varma, managing director at Phoenix Live to tell us more – “The response for RESET Bangalore was overwhelming. More than 1300 people were present for the main event and 700 people attended the after party. More than the number of people, it was the fun and happy vibe that was brilliant, which is exactly what we were trying to create.”

Bangalore was just the first in a series of shows set to take place in 5 more cities. Sp far, lineup and details of the next RESETs at Pune and Hyderabad have been announced. Bharat Verma promises “a different vibe” at each show depending on the indoor/outdoor venues. But the highlight (for us, at least) is the incredible, shattering Funktion One sound system – a rare treat here.

“We will be taking Funktion One to all cities. It is definitely a major highlight of RESET, but there is also a lot more to the showcase. Each and every aspect of RESET is thoroughly contemplated and executed with the aim of bringing a unique energy to the show, which will resonate with people and bring them back every year. We try to make it as different as possible not only in terms of production but also in terms of artist combination and the vibe and ambience that we create. RESET in each city will be a different experience.” – Bharat Verma.

RESET will head over to Pune on 3 October and Hyderabad on 31 October for a special Halloween edition. The event will include performances by the evr reliable Arjun Vagale, Dubai, Dubai techno don Adam, Kohra, Murthovic, Oozeundat, Anish Sood and more.
