British Dubstep Sensation Compa Joins The Line-Up For ECHO #004

10 September 2015

Our favourite no-nonsense bass night ECHO will be back on 25 September with the inclusion of a very special guest performer – British dubstep icon, William Brown – known professionally as Compa.

ECHO is a recurring club night dedicated to pushing soundsytem culture and pure, 90’sdubstep and grime to the capital. The club night normally features selections by Moniker, Alter State (both of whom will not be playing this time round) and reggae dj and MC Delhi Sultanate, who will be joining Compa on the decks.

Compa is an recognized producer and DJ from Lancashire who has been releasing music since 2011 via a number of notable labels including Digital Mystikz’ Deep Medi Musik, Boka Records, WX/WL white label series and more. He’s also played at clubs and nights like Fabric, the iconic FWD nights in London and at the Outlook Festival in Croatia.

Compa’s musical aesthetic straddles the old and the new, paying homage to early bass music while retaining his own refreshingly distinct, forward thinking sound that in his own words is “dark, heavy and atmospheric”. It goes without saying that the selector has found support from some of the biggest names in the dubstep community.

We’re really looking forward to this one. The fourth edition of ECHO will take place once more at antiSOCIAL in New Delhi on 25 September, 9.30pm onwards.

Follow Compa on SoundCloud for more music. Head over to the Facebook event for more details.
