Dualism Records Launches Workshop And Event Series - Subterra Sessions

13 August 2015

Dualism Records is a label initiated and managed by electronic music producer and one of India’s most popular musicians, Sahej Bakshi a.k.a. Dualist Inquiry and OML head of artist management Tej Brar. The imprint had recently announced the launch of a new workshop and event series that aims to bridge the gap between young producers and professionals in India’s live-electronic space.

Subterra Sessions is a welcome move in a burgeoning industry. It’s set to launch tomorrow at blueFROG in Mumbai. The interactive workshop will be hosted by three of India’s most prominent professional producers – Sandunes, real name Sanaya Ardeshir, Rohan Ramanna, producer at Cotton Press Studios and Nicholson, with Sahej Bakshi. The workshop is free of cost, open to the public (as long as you RSVP) and begins at 6.30pm.

The second half of Subterra Sessions 001 will feature a performance by Dualist Inquiry, downtempo producer Kumail and analog trio (and recent Wild city Dropbox Talents) Paraphoniks.

“I've had the chance to conduct a few production workshops in the past, and loved the experience. The idea behind this is to give me and my fellow artists a chance to sit in the same room with you, answer your questions and share with you what we've learned and experienced over the years; stuff that will hopefully help you take the next step towards becoming the producer or artist you're aiming to be.” - Dualist Inquiry

We’re hoping that the initiative will make its way to the capital soon. Details for the flagship edition of Subterra Sessions are below on the poster. Follow Dualism Records on Facebook for updates.

RSVP here if you’re interested in attending the workshop. Regular club charges apply for the evening show.
