El_Txef_A To Tour India Later This Month

We’re very excited to announce that we will be bringing electronic whiz El_Txef_A for a special performance in Delhi later this month. The producer, whose equally unpronounceable real name is Aitor Etxebarria, will be playing at Summer House Café on 31 July with support from the ever-reliable Sanil.
Etxebarria was born in brought up in Bilbao in Basque Country and is all set to release a remix pack of his last LP – ‘We Walked Home Togethe’ today, via his new imprint Forbidden Colours.
We have a feeling that El_Txef_A is going to find a lot of fans for his sound in India. Often attributed with adjectives like mystical and hypnotic, this producers brand of deep, pulsating electronica is something equally enjoyable on a pair of headphones as it is on the dancefloor. Aitor has released two full length albums – ‘Slow Dancing in a Burning Room’ (2012) and ‘We Walked Home Together’ (2014).
El_Txef_A will also be performing at Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune with the crew from Regenerate. He will be joined in Delhi by DJ/producer Sanil, a selector who has a penchant for deep and bass heavy music. Listen to his exclusive mix for Wild City here. Entry to the Delhi event will be free.
