Listen: Folic State Releases New EP ‘Deep Soul’

Folic State is Karan Desai - a Mumbai based producer and DJ who has been mixing sounds since he was 15. The producer recently released his new EP ‘Deep Soul’ via French label Buena Onda Records.
’Deep Soul’ is the Soupherb signee’s third release. Like its predecessors, ‘Deep Soul’ explores a tech house / deep house aesthetic with silky smooth grooves and resounding nautical basslines. The 6 track EP also features remixes by German duo Piemont (on Moondance) and Gurwan (Another Zone). The skillfully produced EP is tailored for the dance floor, favouring dark undulating rhythms and melodies over aggressive beats and too-techy muscle. This is pure club music that's best guaged on a set of good speakers in a dark crowded room.
