Austrian Dance Act 'Her Voice Over Boys (HVOB)' Set To Tour India Later This Month

10 March 2015

We’ve got exciting news.

Wild City with support from the Austrian Cultural Forum, is bringing down acclaimed Viennese electronic outfit HVOB (Her Voice Over Boys) to New Delhi and Bangalore later this month. The producer duo, comprised of Anna Müller, Paul Wallner and Alexander Schuster, will be coming to the country as part of their world tour for HVOB’s sophomore LP ‘Trialog’, officially slated to release on 17 April.

HVOB’s journey started in 2012 with the release of their debut EP ‘Dogs’ and they’ve only gone from strength to strength since then. The duo then went on to really put Vienna on the map with the release of their self-titled debut LP in 2013. The ‘HVOB’ album came out to glowing reviews from the international music fraternity at large, even scoring the duo a top 15 position in the US Billboard Charts' "Next Big Sound" category, several number 1 chart entries on iTunes and a number 3 spot in the Beatport charts.

Anna Muller’s lingering, ghostly vocals and skillful arrangements, along with Paul Wallner’s faultless production create the dreamy, lovelorn tunes that HVOB is best known for. Their sound is intensely deep, cerebral and emotive – a real treat for any music lover. We’ve heard that they’re even better live (HVOB was voted number 2 best live act by influential German electronic music magazine De:bug), particularly with the addition of Alexander Schuster on drums.

The duo will perform on Thursday 19 March in New Delhi at antiSOCIAL. The opening act will feature the collaborative talent of Nicholson x Fuzzy Logic, who will be performing together for the first time in the city and Wild City’s own moniker who will be opening for the duo in both cities. The performance in Bangalore will take place on 20 March at The Humming Tree.

You can listen to ‘Azrael’, the first track off the new album below. Follow HVOB on SoundCloud to get a better taste of their music. You can keep an eye on our facebook page and twitter for updates.
