Stage 42 Announces Extensive First Line Up

Only Much Louder’s massive new property, Stage42, has been on our radar since it was announced last month. The multi-entertainment festival has just revealed their extensive first line up for events in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.

Stage42 is a comedy heavy event series that will feature performances by the likes of Russel Peters, AIB, Bill Burr and YouTube sensations Kanan Gill and Biswa Kalyan Rath of Pretentious Movie Reviews. The festival will also include a number of theatre performances as well as (still to be announced) workshops, screenings and “brunches and chefs tables” at multiple venues littered across all 7 cities.

Of course, music will undoubtedly play a major part in the festival. Most of the Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad line ups are yet to be revealed (only Nucleya and Vir Das’ Alien Chutney seem to be confirmed in Delhi and Mumbai). Kolkata, on the other hand, has confirmed a large musical line up including The Supersonics, Nischay Parekh, The Ganesh Talkies, PINKNOISE and many more.

Bangalore will see music by Reggae Rajah’s, The F16’s and BLOT, among others as Dualist inquiry, Madboy/Mink and Nicholson and more will grace Pune with their presence. Stage42 also promises ‘Anchor Events’ which will feature international headliners, which OML will be revealing soon.
