Applications Open For The Coalition/2

The Coalition is an initiative by OML and Do One Thing that we’ve kept a close eye on since its inception this year. After a successful first round of talks, workshops and events, TC announced yesterday that it has opened applications for its second edition, which will take place from 27 February to 1 March, 2015.

The application process is to the point and allows budding business minded people from any creative industry to apply on their website. Applications are only open to individuals and not businesses, so if you’re part of a team, you will have to fill out separate forms. The Coalition’s goal is straightforward and aims simply to provide fledgling entrepreneurs the tools and resources necessary to turn their passions and skills into profitable, scalable and successful businesses.

According to their website – “From music promoters to app designers, gallerists to studio designers, photo agents to fashion labels to things completely radical and yet-unthought-of – if your business adds to the cause of creativity, The Coalition is right up your alley.”

Selected applicants will be given the opportunity to build their businesses with a range of panel discussions, workshops, as well as training and mentoring sessions from some of the brightest makers in various industries.

Entry to TC/2 will cost creative professionals Rs 3500, and students just Rs 1750. They’re also offering a limited number of free spots, and we suggest you apply as quickly as possible.
