Shaa'ir + Func To Perform At Glastonbury Festival

It’s confirmed. The face of India’s indie-electro scene – Shaa’ir + Func is going to perform at the Mecca of all music festivals. At least for us.

They’ll be performing at Glastonbury music festival alongside legends of the music industry and headliners Arcade Fire, De La Soul, The Black Keys, CHVRCHES, Robert Plant, Massive Attack and many many more. Really we could go on forever. A full list of confirmed artists can be seen here

Big things are definitely coming up for the Indian alternative scene. S+F’s commercial success and unique elctro-folk sound has propelled them to play in every imaginable fest - both in India and internationally. They’ve performed for audiences in France, Amsterdam, Norway, Germany, Dubai and the UK. This isn’t the first time they’ve been part of Glastonbury - Monica Dogra and Randolph Correia have been before, yet this is the first time the entire band will be up on stage.

On another note, we just heard that the Reggae Rajahs will also be touring Jamaica this year. Exciting times.
