Wild City & WeThePpl Launch Disco & Daiquiris This Weekend

It's been a very busy few months for everyone here at Wild City HQ. Magnetic Fields Festival, which we organised alongside partners Wetheppl - sucked us in and threw us out earlier this year. And it made us think.
While New Delhi's nightlife scene regresses and venues (the few that are left) become increasingly difficult to deal with, it made us realise; it's been a while since we've had a good old fashioned party. And what better way to start the year, than with a party.
This Friday Wild City and Wetheppl launch 'Disco & Daiquiris', at HKV's newest bar/restaurant, Barsoom.
A genre of music that peaked in popularity in the late 70s and early 80s, disco remains close to our heart and though it's enjoying resurgences via nu-disco is a genre that we feel sometimes doesn't get the credit it deserves, hidden behind the vast EDM shadow created by DJ's and music lovers nationwide.
If you're also familiar with daiquiris, yes the rum based cocktail - then this one's for you. To make this as authentic as possible, we'll be serving a variety of daiquiris on the night.
As for the music, we're extremely happy to launch with resident Gaurav Malaker (BLOT!) and Moniker, who'll both be spinning a variety of disco inspired bangers, alongside some old-school anthems.
