Watch: Frame/Frame Releases Stunning Video Ahead Of EP Launch

25 September 2013

Frame/Frame is officially on fire. With mere days to go until the release of his debut ‘Swimmers’ EP he has just dropped a video for the title single ‘Pastels’. We’ve binged on this track and then some so were intrigued to see how it would be interpreted to film.

Directed by Mumbai based Anna Joseph, the video takes a melancholy tone with a series of abstract scenes tinged in nostalgic hues, non descript enough for anyone to connect with. Sleeping, drinking, partying, running, thinking - the video captures the haunting loneliness of the song beautifully without trying too hard.

“The video is set at that time of the night when the space you're in and the things around you make you contemplate life a little. When it's easy to be sucked into a powerful feeling. Loneliness, self doubt - it could be anything.” – Anna Joseph

Pastels is a song that will crawl under your skin, whilst Nikhil’s vocals gently work their way through your lips, as you quietly hum away.

Frame/Frame will be on tour beginning this week with dates across the country. A full schedule will be released soon. Delhiites however, will be able to catch him not only tomorrow (26 September) at Listen up (with an exclusive first-play and Q&A session) but also at New Delhi's edition of BASS CAMP Festival alongside the likes of Mr. Bill, Snareophobe, Fuzzculture and more.
