Watch: Short Film On Four Tet, Making Music & His Inspirations

13 September 2013

Four Tet (a.k.a Kieran Hebden) is one of our favourite musicians in the world. Period.

Having collaborated with musical maestro’s that include Aphex Twin, jazz drummer Steve Reid, Thom Yorke, and Burial, all alongside his very personal genre-defying take on electronic music, he's a name you'll find on most playlists of music lovers the world over. No matter how much they're into metal, rock, dance music or not. It's music defined by the roots of hip-hop, jazz, funk, soul, garage, house and a whole load of emotion.

Want to know more about his creative process?

Intel and the Vice networks collaborative celebration of legendary artists across multiple disciplines, The Creators Project, have produced an intimate documentary exploring the last 10 years of Four Tet's craft. A rare chance to get an insight into the creative process throughout a decade of Hebden’s illustrious career. It drops on the 10th anniversary of his brilliant ‘Rounds’ album release.

The animated photographs used to illustrate Hebden’s stories are stunning and provide a unique backdrop to a very simple yet compelling artist story.
