'Puma Loves Vinyl' To Take Place In New Delhi

28 February 2013

Following a monumental launch in Mumbai on 23 June 2012, Puma Loves Vinyl is set to sweep into Delhi on 9 March with some of the country's biggest indie players in tow.

Earlier in the year Puma had kicked off a first-of-its-kind initiative, where some of these acts from across the country created original tracks which were featured on a limited edition vinyl. Artists such as Karsh Kale, Reggae Rajahs, Ankur and the Ghalat Family, Tough on Tobacco, Dualist Inquiry and The Supersonics all supplied a track "each inspired by PUMA Social".

Due to be held at Zorba, the concert will predominantly host artists featured on the 'Puma Loves Vinyl' limited edition record, alongside a few other upcoming acts. Ankur Tewari and the Ghalat Family, The Supersonics, Dualist Inquiry, The Vinyl Records and The Lightyears Explode will all take centre stage during the day long festivities.

In the run up to the big concert, there will also be 2 ‘pre-echo sessions’, both conveniently taking place in Delhi's ever evolving Hauz Khas Village. These include a performance by Reggae Rajahs at T.L.R on 6 March and DJ Leon Russell at Raasta on 7 March. The limited edition Puma Loves Vinyl LP and some record players will be given away to lucky fans at both the pre-echo sessions and main gig day.

Registration for all events is free but limited and opens on Friday 1 March. Simply head here to get more information and book yourself a spot for 9 March.
