Major Lazer Announces New LP Release Date. Listen To New Track

While Major Lazer’s 'Free The Universe' has been delayed from a November to February and now 15 April release via Secretly Canadian, Diplo and friends have made good on the promise of streaming a new single in the shape of 'Watch Out For This (Bumaye)'.

Originally put together by Amsterdam based producer's Flexican and FS Green, before receiving some classic Major Lazer moombahton/dancehall doctoring with added toasting from Busy Signal, the track confirms that their sense of hands-in-the-air party music in still very much intact.

In preparation of the LP release, Diplo and friends have also shared the first of 3 pre-album mixtapes titled, 'Lazer Strikes Back Vol. 1'. You can download it here

Lazer's sophomore album 'Free The Universe' boasts an staggering list of guests, including Wyclef Jean, Vybz Kartel, Peaches, Shaggy, Santigold, Tyga, and Bruno Mars. It's no wonder why the release date has been pushed back month after month.
