Tune In To Radio79

Audio Aashram are a busy bunch. In addition to taking over the programming at blueFROG in Delhi, they’ve been putting together an exciting space/creative hub soon to be revealed that also plays home to a new online radio station: Radio79.
Although Radio79.com has been around under the guise of 3 channels called 'Dance', 'Trip' and 'Relax' reaching out to over 90 countries around the world, the new online station sees a streamlined and more cohesive one stop online shop for your ears.
Radio79 has one goal, to serve as a platform for alternative Indian music. By playing and showcasing contemporary sounds from across India, they hope to become a portal that listeners all over the country turn to discover new Indian music.
The channel is programmed in a way that explores different genres in a daily show called ‘Soundcheck’, and further programming highlights include a weekly ‘Special Agent’ show on Wednesday afternoons that will get listeners further acquainted with key members from the scene (today 2-4pm will be hosted by Stiff Kittens' head honcho Stefan "Flexi" Kaye); Mon-Thurs presents an hourly roundup of featured releases; and TLR has a weekly spot on Tuesdays hosted by Su Real.
