After 4 years of spreading infectious beats across the country, Indian bass dons Bay Beat Collective are releasing their debut EP ‘Megapolis’ tomorrow (12 October). The 3 track EP will see a collaboration with Mumbai's rising star Ox7gen, whilst also being mixed by future garage aficionado Sandunes. The much anticipated EP (these guys have been teasing us about it for a while) will be accompanied with a 5 city tour around India stopping at New Delhi, Mumbai, Shillong, Chennai and Pune (details on all those dates here).
It's no secret that BBC are taking huge strides in placing India on the international bass music map having just returned this summer from playing at Outlook Festival in Croatia where all accounts are unanimous in affirming that they ‘smashed it'. This is simply, the next level.
As a treat to all Wild City readers we've got an exclusive of the EP right here, 24 hours before you'll be able to hear it anywhere else. You can hear and download all three tracks below. It will officially be released for free via the duo's Bandcamp tomorrow.
