After witnessing an incredible performance by HVOB in March this year, we brought down German downtempo electronic savant Parra for Cuva, otherwise known as Nicolas Demuth, to Delhi as part of a tour to push his acclaimed new album ‘Majouré’.
As expected, his performance at antiSOCIAL in Hauz Khas village New Delhi was stuffed to the gills with a crowd enchanted by Parra for Cuva’s whimsical downtempo tunes, and now it’s time to relive the experience.
Filmmaker Vikram Singh has just released a short film in association with Wild City that profiles the artist’s trip to the capital, following the producer around the sun dappled alleys and parks in and around Hauz Khas Village and covering his show at antiSOCIAL. It’s a beautifully shot little video that manages to capture the energy at the show and Demuth’s personality to a tee.
