BLOT! is a live electronic music project based out of Delhi, India. Straddling music and art, party and performance, Gaurav Malaker is the producer and DJ at the helm of the project. Since its start in 2007 with Thiruda (Avinash), BLOT! has slowly edged away from more minimal sounds into mastery of a warmer and more emotive sound that straddles techno and deeper side of modern house. The producer has delivered an inspiring run of music releases in his career spanning a decade, as well as immersive audiovisual sets and innumerable art installations both in India and abroad.
Mumbai based producer, OX7GEN (Aditya Ashok) gladly resided in the undertow, as a self taught producer and controller wizard with influences running deep - cue kingpins like Andy C, London Elektricity and Danny Byrd for the first wave; then expect a rising tide of original liquid drum & bass. In a little under two years, he has managed to make his presence felt by earning slots at nearly every major festival in the subcontinent. Right from the beaches of Goa's Sunburn festival to the hills of north India’s Escape Festival as well as closing the Bacardi NH7 weekenders dub station stage for 2 years in a row, BASS Camp festival and many more. During this journey, he's ended up supporting some of the biggest names in the international bass music scene including London Elektricity, KOAN Sound, Alix Perez, Concord Dawn, Dub Phizix & Nymfo.
Divine is an award-winning rapper and hip-hop artist from Mumbai. Born and brought up in the ‘gullies’ of Bombay, Divine has come to be known as the "Voice of the Streets” - narrating tales of the people that he's grown up observing since childhood and paying homage to the characteristics of the city.
Born and raised in the city of Delhi, the Indian producer has experienced an explosive rise in the past couple of years - leading the country's hip-hop scene to the forefront of the flourishing independent music industry. Since a young age, Sez has been a disciple of hip-hop culture and has revolutionised the sounds we come to associate with Indian hip-hop.
Lifafa is the solo project of Peter Cat Recording Co frontman Suryakant Sawhney. Lifafa offers a mix of acoustic folk elements and old-school disco layered with a baritone voice that can be angsty and meditative at the same time.
dotdat is a manifestation of the musical philosophy and inspirations that drive the man behind it. With techno at the core of his ambiguous, dark and hypnotic sounds, dotdat explores new dimensions of melody and movement.
Azadi Records' signee Seedhe Maut represent the next stage in the evolution of the capital’s hip-hop sound. Having mastered the art of delivering razor sharp, combative and witty rhymes, the bi-lingual duo are following in the trailblazing footsteps of international hip-hop collectives such as Run The Jewels, Clipse, Black Hippy, Mobb Deep, Blackstar and more.
