Fire In The Booth: Watch DIVINE Spit Fire On BBC Asia Network

Mumbai rapper DIVINE recently visited the UK to show off his freestyle skills on BBC Asia Network’s edition of Fire In The Booth, a segment that focuses on showcasing some of the brightest MCs and lyricists from the UK and beyond.

We’re quite sure that the rapper is the first (born and raised) Indian to be a part of the segment, which is hosted by DJ, producer, actor and MC Charlie Sloth. DIVINE looked gleefully surprised to see Sloth (whose show he’d been admiring for a while) in the booth him.

The second Sloth lays down some beats, all of DIVINE’s apprehension and unease vanishes; he just zones right in and spits fire over and over again. It’s incredible stuff, especially if you understand Hindi (though his verses have been translated).
