The Indo-German Urban Mela opens in Bangalore today with a grand inauguration ceremony. It features 16 pavilions hosted by German organisations featuring a combination of technology, science, culture and entertainment. Alongside this is a cultural programme that includes a daily schedule of gigs, dance shows, flash mobs and concerts. The Urban Mela in Bangalore has a strong focus on events and talks for students with the Youth University, Science Slam and Poetry Slam all encouraging students to get involved while simultaneously exploring options for study and internships in Germany.
