Watch: Femme In Music - On Tour With Ikonika

Enigmatic producer and DJ Ikonika was filmed for a short documentary during her teaching and performing tour of South Africa.
The eight-minute film sees Ikonika reflect on her time mentoring other femme-identifying people as part of the DJ workshops hosted by Pussy party in partnership with British Council and Connect Za.
Ikonika spoke to the likes of Kajama, DJ SoKool, Phatstoki and many others. The documentary sheds a light on what it means to be part of the industry in South Africa and get an insight into how the country’s major cities (Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban) are connected through workshops and parties. All through the eyes of women.
