Suman Sridhar and Natasha Mendonca To Present Work At Tate Modern

Award-winning filmmaker Natasha Mendonca will be premiering her feature film ‘Ajeeb Aashiq / Strange Love’ in the UK at the Tate Modern Museum whilst Suman Sridhar will have an exclusive world preview of her album ‘The Black Mamba’ later this year.

‘Ajeeb Aashiq / Strange Love’ is Natasha Mendonca’s debut feature film. Exploring gender identity, class and love in the bustling city of Mumbai, Suman Sridhar plays the lead role.

‘The Black Mamba’ by Suman Sridhar is an Afro-Indian album that features musicians from the world of hip-hop, jazz, African and Indian classical across the U.K, U.S and India.

The two artists will be showcasing their work at the Tate Modern Museum in London, UK on 5 July 2017. Get more details for it here.

Leading up to the U.K premieres, Natasha Mendonca and Suman Sridhar will present their work in Croatia at Queer Zagreb, one of Europe’s leading visual and performing arts festivals.
