A/T/O/S, LANDS & Lacuna

12 October 2017
New Delhi

A/T/O/S (A Taste of Struggle) is a project by Amos and Truenoys. Their first ever creation followed their first ever meeting (summer 2012) and resonated with Mala, who immediately signed them to his label, DEEP MEDi MUSIK. A/T/O/S have consistently built tunes since that meeting, swapping beats between and leading to their debut (self titled) album release in 2014 via Mala's platform.

It's still early in their journey but the music has already commanded support from taste-makers such as Gilles Peterson (World Wide FM), Mary Anne Hobbs (BBC Radio) , Dom Servini (Wah Wah 45 / Amazing Radio), Studio Brussels, Noisey to name but a few. As well as inviting remixes from Skream, Commodo and Internal Sun. The debut video 'A Taste of Struggle' (by Simon Mannaerts) was premiered on Noisey.

LANDS is a dream-pop duo from Mumbai, India and is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Sohrab Nicholson and producer/multi-instrumentalist Rohan Ramanna. They launched their project in 2014 at the National Centre for Performing Arts, and since have played to audiences both domestically and internationally, at venues and festivals such as the South Bank Centre in London, Glasgow’s Concert Halls, NH7 Weekender, Magnetic Fields Festival, Ziro Festival of Music and the Great Escape Festival in the UK to name a few. Their music is an amalgamation of the similarities and disparities in their individual tastes. Heavily influenced by jazz, folk, pop, electronica, soul, RnB, hip-hop, feature film scores, the environments and people around them, and not bound by genre, LANDS is currently finishing their first LP, 'Love and Other Machinery', which should be out early 2018.

Lacuna is the solo experimental electronic music project of New Delhi based guitarist/producer Mihir Raina. Lacuna's sound dwells in the realm of experimental music borrowing from styles including hip hop, bass, trip hop and jungle.
