Covelong Point Festival 2017 Takes Place This Weekend

For those looking to escape the heat and humidity that comes with August, Covelong Point Festival near Chennai is the perfect answer.

Pristine beaches, a shimmering blue sea and some of the finest surf in the country can all be enjoyed between 25-27 August 2017 at the Covelong Point Social Surf School in Kovalam village near Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

India’s first surfing village and a hub of surf culture in South India, the festival also has a diverse line-up for music. Boasting three stages, the festival will have the likes of The Raghu Dixit Project, Skrat, Mali, Padma Shankar, Avilente and one of India’s best rappers Divine.

The third part of the festival focuses on yoga, bringing together a finely curated lineup of renowned yogis and meditation teachers. Attendees can experience different disciplines of yoga, learn how to surf and bounce along to Divine’s lyrics all in one day.
